Picard, Jim

b.8/3/19 d.09/21/44. 232 W. Steuben St. Jim graduated St. Philip grade school and Crafton High School.  He was drafted into the Army Air Corp and became a bombardier in flights over Germany.  He was killed when two planes collided over Roblenz, Germany in September, 1944.  He is buried in Henri Chapel American Cemetery in Belgium.  He received the Purple Heart.  He was 25 years old.
